Where to Grow: Outdoors in partial sun. Indoors in bright locations or under grow lights.
Climate: All succulents can happily grow outdoors when temperatures are above 40F and below 100F. Protect from full sun during hot summer afternoons. Bring indoors to protect from frost.
Acclimation: Allow about 2 weeks to gradually transition from bright shade to partial sun after delivery (learn more)
Transplanting: We recommend transplanting within 1-2 weeks. If necessary, plants can stay in original pots for several weeks with proper care (learn more)
Soil: Use gritty, well-draining soil to promote root growth and prevent rot, e.g. a cactus or succulent potting mix from your local garden center
Watering: Water deeply, but only when the soil is dry. Actual frequency varies by location, container, soil, and season
Containers: Use any kind of container, but drainage holes are recommended (learn more)

Yes, each of these 50 succulents comes in its own 2" square plastic grow pot. For events, some people choose to wrap the pots in decorative paper or transplant the succulents into 2"-3" diameter pots.

If you order multiple Ultimate Succulent Trays at once, most if not all of the 50 varieties will repeat across the trays. But if you order the tray again in a later week, there will be different varieties included, as we always prioritize the types of succulents that are in-season.

Are all the succulents in the mcg ultimate collection winter hardy? If not, is a frost hardy collection available?

You're going to want to look at these Bulk Trays of Frost Hardy Succulents. The MCG Ultimate Tray includes a mix of frost hardy and temperate succulents. Temperate succulents can be outdoors for much of the year, but they do need to come inside before any chance of freezing temperatures.

What type of pot do the succulents ship in?

Each of the succulents in this tray comes fully rooted in its own 2" square, plastic grow pot with drainage holes. It's always good plant hygiene to replant into a new pot with well-draining soil (or in the ground if they're hardy in your Grow Zone), but your succulents can stay in the grow pots they arrive in for up to about a month after delivery if necessary.

Yes, near a sunny window is a great place to keep freshly delivered succulents before you're ready to transplant them. If the weather is mild, you can also often keep succulents outdoors in a shaded to partial sun area.
