Sempervivum heuffelii (heff-EL-ee-eye) are beautiful cold hardy and drought tolerant succulents with rich colors that do not fade. Colors will change with the seasons, but to a much lesser extent than other Sempervivum. Younger plants typically form tidy rosettes. Mature plants, if left alone, form a lovely, large clump. Sempervivum heuffelii multiply from offsets which you cut with a knife to propagate.
PLEASE NOTE: Jovibarba is no longer a genus. The plants in this category are now considered to be Sempervivum heuffelii cultivars. For more information, click here to view the National Gardening Association's post about this topic.
