"Unrooted" just means that they don't have roots, they're cuttings. you can plant them, but it will take them some time to grow roots before they get any bigger. Click the link below for a guide on how to plant cuttings

Each chick is counted as an individual rosette. These cuttings won't have chicks attached to them as they themselves are chicks that were pulled off of mother plants.

I notice that the sempervivum (30-40) pack look red in the pics and the (60-70) pack look green in the pic. Are both these packs an assortment of colors or do you get more red in one and more green in the other? See more »

Both sizes of unrooted rosettes are assortments. The pictures are just for reference and don't necessarily reflect the current color, as Sempervivum can change color dramatically throughout the year.

That depends on how densely you want to plant them. There are 30 to 40 rosettes in this bag that range in size from about 1"-3". So you could plant them right next to each other if you want your planting to be instantly full and cover about 1 square foot. Or you could spread them out to a 4" spacing to give them room to grow and cover about 4 square feet.

For these unrooted Sempervivum, just keep them face up near a sunny window to maintain their color. If they start to fade to green, they need more sun. We've had Sempervivum cuttings last six months without water and still be viable. Hopefully you can use yours before then.

Which product would be good for 30 people - craft at shower to place succulent PIECES on white mini boo pumpkins See more »

That depends on how many cuttings you want on each pumpkin and how much varieties you want. The best bulk option is probably this Assorted Cuttings Pack. Those are all frost tender varieties and tend to be nice pastel tones.
If you prefer succulents that can tolerate frost, you might try this 1/2 Pound Bag of Sempervivum Cuttings. There are 30-40 rosettes in each bag, and they're a little smaller than the cuttings in the Assorted Pack.

They prefer smaller pots to larger pots. Smaller pots allow them to dry out faster which reduces the risk of excess moisture.

As for dividing, only do so if it starts looking too crowded in its pot and you want more Sempervivum. When to divide is certainly not a hard and fast rule.

If I order this collection I will need a bunch of pots to plants each on in so they can develop roots. What size pots do you need? I have a bunch of 2" x 2" from previous purchases (cleaned with bleach) that I would like to re-use See more »

2" pots will be plenty big enough to root these cuttings.
