Highlights
Pale-leaf Yucca (Yucca pallida) (McKelvey): A fantastic plant in any landscape with interesting, twisty foliage. This loose rosette has soft blue, flexible leaves with wavy, sometimes curled edges. It produces a showy bloom in spring that can reach up to 8.0' tall with many large, white flowers. It is often solitary, but some plants will produce offshoots around their bases and develop into a stately colony. Mature plants can reach 20.0" tall and 30.0" wide. This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" round plastic pot.
Yucca need plenty of full, outdoor sunlight and great drainage to thrive. They do well in gritty, mineral soils and pots with drainage holes. Over time you'll see new offshoots sprout up around the base of the mother plant.
Yucca grow slowly in the spring and summer and can tolerate high heat and extended drought. This variety is frost hardy and will happily overwinter under an insulating blanket of snow. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
