Staghorn Fern (Platycerium bifurcatum): A prehistoric looking fern with velvety, antler-like fronds. This is an epiphyte native to Java and southeastern Australia that grows off of trees instead of out of the ground. As such, it can be mounted on a hanging board with moss and a bit of soil. Non-toxic and pet-safe.
Keep this one in bright, indirect light. Mist or soak regularly so that it doesn't dry out. Protect from freezing temperatures. A living sculpture that can eventually grow up to 3 feet wide with proper care.
