Highlights
Sedeveria 'Letizia' (Sedum cuspidatum × Echeveria setosa ciliata) (Wass): A lustrous, apple green rosette with branching stems and light cilia. The edges of the leaves can flush brilliant red when the plant is gently stressed with direct sunlight, extended drought, or cool temperatures (around 40F). Each spring, the plant can produce white, star-shaped flowers that attract pollinators.
'Letizia' thrives with bright sun, great drainage, and deep but infrequent watering. It is a soft succulent and will not tolerate hard frosts, but will happily overwinter indoors near a sunny window.
The rosettes tend to stay small (around 2.5" wide) but over time the stems beneath them can grow over 8.0" tall. Fortunately, 'Letizia' propagates easily from stem cuttings. Use a sharp, clean knife to lop off the rosette, leave to dry 3-5 days, then transplant in gritty, well-draining soil to re-grow roots (more info).
