MCG Exclusive Succulents are those plants that you’re not going to find on the other major nursery sites. They are incredibly rare and are a must have for collections. The list is primarily Sempervivum, although there are plenty of Echeveria and a few assorted plants like Gasteria or Haworthia.
Care
Their care needs are fairly standard for succulents. They like well draining, mostly mineral soils, bright light and infrequent watering. Because the plants are so variable, the degree to which any one plant on this list differs from these general care needs is also variable. Some of these plants are hardy and some are soft.
Hardy succulents (i.e. Sempervivum) are succulents who can take frost and cold weather. These plants tend to do better outside and, in many cases, prefer the harsh elements to the pampered life of an indoor plant.
Soft succulents (i.e. Echeveria) are succulents who cannot take frost and cold weather. These plants will need to be grown as houseplants or otherwise protected from the cold and harsh weather of winter. In sunny window sills these plants thrive.

Haworthia viscosa. A bizarre Haworthia with a long stem that’s covered in stacked leaves. It’s one of the few Haworthia plants that can trail.
