Highlights

Graptopetalum bellum (previously Tacitus) (Hunt): A unique, flat rosette of densely-packed leaves. It can show tones of lavender, pink, and sea green. The whole rosette can grow to 4.0" in diameter. Its bloom is quite a spectacle of numerous large, hot pink flowers on tall bloom stalks. This species has larger flowers than other members of Graptopetalum because it is pollinated by hummingbirds.

Soft succulents will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, good drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.

We don't tend to recommend terrariums due to the challenges associated with them. Despite that, you could plant these in a terrarium. Click the link below to read more about the problems with terriums and how to mitigate those problems.

Both hardy and soft succulents can end up in this set, so not all of these can be planted outdoors.

Each of the succulents in this tray comes fully rooted in its own 2" square, plastic grow pot with drainage holes. It's always good plant hygiene to replant into a new pot with well-draining soil (or in the ground if they're hardy in your Grow Zone), but your succulents can stay in the grow pots they arrive in for up to about a month after delivery if necessary.

No, the photo is a good representation of the diversity, but it is just an example. We make these gift boxes fresh each week based on what's looking colorful, so it varies seasonally.

That depends on where you live and the route the box travels to your door. If you're worried about it, you can order a heat pack at the link below. They're very effective at keeping plants from freezing.

Which plants go into the box depends on availability and are, therefore, subject to change on a regular basis. The pictures are just there for example. Since they're built ahead of time, we cannot take specific requests regarding them. Sorry about that!

If you want to pick your own varieties, you can find them all at the link below.

If you want to pot each succulent individually, we recommend using containers 2"-3" in diameter. If you want to pot them all in one container, look for a pot that is 6"-8" in diameter. And yes, we do sell pots! You can browse them at the link below.

That depends on your personal preference. If you leave an inch of space between plants, that will increase the longevity of your arrangement, but will require a much larger pot. If you want a nice, full look right away, you can use a smaller pot (about 6" in diameter) as each of the plants will come to you already rooted in 2" pots.

“Another round please! I love MTG!

Short promo video I made for my clients to enjoy. You may share as well if you'd like! https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1FV3F2ubsJ/

I am hosting a 4 day succulent fundraiser for a non-profit animal rescue here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 100% of them are MTG plants! These succulents are so much better than I could have asked for. From the size of the plants, to the color variety, to the packaging! A+++ I had over 150 plants delivered upside-down at my door, and not a single plant was harmed. Very impressive. Keep up the good work! I can't wait for my next order! (which is on the way already!)”
