Gasteraloe 'Emmy': A charming and richly colored hybrid with sword like leaves. These leaves are normally dark green but can flush royal purple at the tips under stress by direct sun or drought. The plant is pleasantly speckled and each leaf is bordered by a pale, toothy ridge. This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot.
Gasteraloe have low light and water requirements. They are one of the best types of succulents to grow indoors because they can tolerate low light conditions and still maintain their form and colors. Plant Gasteraloe in deep pots with drainage holes as they grow deep roots and will not tolerate standing water. Use a gritty, well-draining soil and water deeply, but only when the soil is fully dry. Protect from frost.
