Highlights
Euphorbia millotii (Ursch & Leandri): This Madagascan Euphorbia is perfect for adding interest to any soft succulent collection! Its leaves are forest green on top and magenta on the bottom. The species grows into a small shrublet in the wild, branching readily and reaching up to 12.0" tall at maturity. It can lose its leaves during its winter dormancy and re-sprout them in spring. This plant is fully rooted in a 6.0" pot.
PLEASE NOTE: Euphorbia contain a white, latex sap that can cause skin irritation or allergic reaction. Use gloves and eye protection to handle.
Euphorbia will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply and wait for the soil to completely dry out before watering again.
