Highlights
Euphorbia lenewtonii is a rare, densely branching succulent native to Tanzania. It forms compact cushions of green stems with yellow highlights, reaching up to 10 cm tall and 50 cm wide. The plant features sharp paired spines and produces small yellow flowers (cyathia). It thrives in well-drained soil, requires moderate watering, and enjoys full to partial sun. A unique addition to any succulent collection! Originally grown in a 3.5" pot. For protection in transit, this plant ships bare root, wrapped in paper.
PLEASE NOTE: Euphorbia contain a white, latex sap that can cause skin irritation or allergic reaction. Use gloves and eye protection to handle.
Euphorbia will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply and wait for the soil to completely dry out before watering again.
