Highlights
Euphorbia lactea f. cristata 'White Ghost': With a wavy, fanned out form, this plant is a dramatic specimen for any collection. This Euphorbia is cream white and forest green, so it's able to stand on its own roots. This plant ships as a bare root specimen, without a pot. The specimen is around 4" long.
With bright sunlight, it can flush a vibrant pink. Handle with care; Euphorbia have thorns and contain an irritating sap.
Use a gritty soil mixture and a pot with a drainage hole to avoid ‘wet feet’. Water deeply, but only once the soil is completely dry.
Euphorbia will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply and wait for the soil to completely dry out before watering again.
