Highlights
Euphorbia horrida f. monstruosa (Boissier): A mutant version of Euphorbia horrida with bumpy, bubbly growth. This succulent is forest green in coloration and forms lemon yellow flowers. It offsets regularly and forms a chaotic clump given time. This plant ships as a bare root specimen without a pot. This bare root plant is roughly 4" long (with the roots) by 2" wide.
PLEASE NOTE: Euphorbia contain a white, latex sap that can cause skin irritation or allergic reaction. Use gloves and eye protection to handle.
Euphorbia will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply and wait for the soil to completely dry out before watering again.
