Highlights
Spiral Aloe (Aloe polyphylla) (Pillans): A highly-prized plant with mesmerizing geometry! This incredible plant grows up to 150 pointed leaves that line up in five spirals (clockwise or counter). The leaves are lined with short teeth and a translucent border, much like the leaf windows of Haworthia. It is native to the mountains of Lesotho, where it spends winters under snow. It is a slow, finicky grower, but has earned the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot.
Please Note: This is a challenging plant to keep alive. It needs plenty of outdoor sunshine, but does poorly in temperatures above 80F. It needs more water than most Aloes, but will rot in soggy soil. Outside of its native habitat, its seems to do best in a coastal, Northern California climate.
Soft succulents will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need bright sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.

Short promo video I made for my clients to enjoy. You may share as well if you'd like! https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1FV3F2ubsJ/
I am hosting a 4 day succulent fundraiser for a non-profit animal rescue here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 100% of them are MTG plants! These succulents are so much better than I could have asked for. From the size of the plants, to the color variety, to the packaging! A+++ I had over 150 plants delivered upside-down at my door, and not a single plant was harmed. Very impressive. Keep up the good work! I can't wait for my next order! (which is on the way already!)”
