Highlights
Agave 'Kissho Kan': A Japanese hybrid of immense beauty! The frosty green leaves are bordered by a creamy yellow margin which is contrasted by coppery red teeth and fierce terminal spines. It slowly offsets to form a neat clump with age. This plant is fully rooted in a 6.0" pot.
Agave need plenty of full, outdoor sunlight and great drainage to thrive. They do well in gritty, mineral soils and pots with drainage holes. This species is drought tolerant as it has adapted to climates with only 4.0" to 5.0" of precipitation per year. Over time you'll see new offsets or "pups" sprout up around the base of the mother plant.
Agave grow slowly in the spring and summer and can tolerate high heat and extended drought. This variety is not frost hardy but will happily thrive through on a sunny window sill. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
