Highlights
Agave inaequidens 'Ashy White' is a bold and architectural succulent known for its thick, leathery leaves covered in a pale, powdery coating that gives it a distinctive ashy-blue to silvery-white appearance. Each leaf is edged with sharp, irregular teeth and terminates in a prominent spine, creating a dramatic contrast against its smooth, dusty surface. Native to Mexico and well-adapted to arid climates, this agave thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, requiring minimal water once established. This plant is fully rooted in a 1.5" plug.
Agave need plenty of full, outdoor sunlight and great drainage to thrive. They do well in gritty, mineral soils and pots with drainage holes. Over time you'll see new offsets or "pups" sprout up around the base of the mother plant.
Agave grow slowly in the spring and summer and can tolerate high heat and extended drought. This variety is only somewhat frost hardy and needs protection from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
