Agave demeesterian 'Silver Star': A large rosette of lime green and silver. This variegated monstrosity can reach a diameter of 5 feet at maturity! This makes it an excellent centerpiece plant for tender gardens, though it can take a light frost, especially when covered. At the end of its life, it produces a towering, 8 foot bloom stalk which is covered in yellow-green blooms. This plant is rooted in a 3.5" pot.

Agave grow slowly in the spring and summer and can tolerate high heat and extended drought. This variety is not frost hardy. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
