Highlights
Agave albopilosa 'Tufts' (Cabral, Villarreal & Estrada): An olive green variety with thick, fibrous leaves, each tipped with a tuft of silvery fuzz. It stays mostly solitary, maintaining its gorgeous shape. At the end of its life, it produces a bloom stalk nearly 4' tall. Its flowers are green and purple. This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot.
Agave grow slowly in the spring and summer and can tolerate high heat and extended drought. This variety is frost hardy and will happily thrive through winter under an insulating blanket of snow. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
