Highlights
Sunsparkler® Sedoro 'Blue Elf' PP27113: The world's first intergeneric cross of Sedum x Orostachys and a success in both appearance and vigor. This blue beauty forms a dense cluster of blue, disc-shaped leaves on long, sprawling stems. A coating of natural wax gives it a soft, chalky look. It blooms like a Sedum with clusters of tiny, dark pink flowers that last from late summer to early fall. Pair this variety with yellow plants like 'Tokyo Sun', 'Ogon', and 'Angelina' for great contrast.
Hardy Sedum are easy, frost-hardy plants that thrive outdoors with full sun and great drainage. Plant in raised beds or containers with drainage holes and mix 50% coarse sand, pumice, or perlite into the soil to prevent rot. Regular water will help young plants establish roots and spread quickly, but mature Sedum can tolerate several months of drought. If you choose to propagate by hand, cut off the top 2.0"+ of stem and transplant it to re-root.
