Highlights
Sedum selskianum (now Phedimus selskianus) (t'Hart): A unique ground cover that can tolerate more shade and water than most stonecrops. Its green foliage has serrated margins and can flush reddish in cool seasons. This species tends to grow in mounded clumps and makes an excellent addition to rock gardens and borders. The stems grow to about 4.0" and are covered with short, fine hairs.
Pleas Note: Dormant in winter months. If you order November - March, plant will arrive dormant, but will typically recover by mid-May in most areas.
Hardy Sedum are easy, frost-hardy plants that thrive outdoors with full sun and great drainage. Plant in raised beds or containers with drainage holes and mix 50% coarse sand, pumice, or perlite into the soil to prevent rot. Regular water will help young plants establish roots and spread quickly, but mature Sedum can tolerate several months of drought. If you choose to propagate by hand, cut off the top 2.0"+ of stem and transplant it to re-root.
