Highlights
Sedum album 'Coral Carpet': Small beady leaves of green, turning a lovely coral shade in hot-dry climates. Low grower with spreading habit. Works well in green roof and vertical wall projects.
Good in miniature, fairy, and railway gardens.
Sedum like well-drained, porous soil. Addition of grit or sharp sand will help porosity & drainage. Many varieties propagate by simply spreading leaves on the soil surface. To ensure division, remove top 2" of plant tips and strip lower leaves form bottom of stem. Plant in well-drained soil mix and water after 2-3 days. Do not over water! New plants should be well established after 5-6 weeks. Fertilize with a low-nitrogen fertilizer 1-2 times during growing season.
