Rusted Rabbitt Living Designs Rectangular Barnwood Planter Kit
A long, low rectangular planter made from weathered reclaimed barnwood, designed to be filled with a lush mix of trailing sedums, soft echeverias, and jade-style succulents.
The rustic wood pairs beautifully with preserved moss in a variety of textures and shades of green for a finished look that works on a dining table, mantel, or kitchen counter. Each arrangement is unique and ships ready to assemble with just a few simple steps—a perfect way to enjoy an afternoon of creativity alone or with friends. This is a great experience for anyone, whether you’re new to plants and DIY or already comfortable with both. A detailed care and instruction card is included so you can assemble and maintain your planter with confidence.
Melissa Tebbenhoff of Rusted Rabbitt Living Designs is a designer and living artist who turns succulents into quiet, approachable pieces of art creating barnwood planters, grapevine and moss forms, foraged driftwood arrangements, and seasonal pieces that feel special without being high maintenance. Inspired by her mother and grandmother, who first shared with her a love of plants and making things by hand, her work is a gentle homage to them and to the simple act of creating with nature. A longtime Mountain Crest Gardens customer, she designs with care for both the plants and the people who will enjoy them, believing there’s something quietly therapeutic in bringing a little living green into everyday spaces.
