Ledebouria socialis - ‘Variegated Pink Squill’ is a bulb-based plant with slender leaves splashed in green, cream, and rosy pink above a cluster of exposed bulbs. As it grows, the bulbs multiply into a charming colony that gives the plant a wonderfully sculptural look. Bright light helps bring out its strongest coloration and keeps the growth compact. This unusual variety is especially striking in small pots, windowsill collections, and mixed succulent displays.
PLEASE NOTE: Thin leaves may curl or become bruised during shipping. They will recover with proper light and water and by growing and shedding old leaves.
Soft succulents will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need ample sunlight, good drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use well-draining cactus and succulent soil with 50% to 70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.
