Highlights
Foxtail Agave (Agave attenuata) (Galeotti): A lime green Agave with a tall stem. The leaves of this plant seem to shoot out from the stem before falling back towards the ground like green water. They are also covered in a silvery sheen that adds a nice elegance to the plant. The bloom stalks appear like large fox tails and are covered in yellow flowers. This plant is fully rooted in a 2" pot.
Agave need plenty of full, outdoor sunlight and great drainage to thrive. They do well in gritty, mineral soils and pots with drainage holes. Over time you'll see new offsets or "pups" sprout up around the base of the mother plant.
Agave grow slowly in the spring and summer and can tolerate high heat and extended drought. This variety not frost hardy. Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
