Highlights
Gasteraloe 'Twilight Zone': A dark green houseplant with many fun, textured foliage. The leaves are covered in bumps or spine-like protrusions that are actually safe to touch. These give the whole plant a fierce, reptilian appearance. Look for tubular, tiger orange flowers in the spring months.
Like its Aloe and Gasteria parent plants, 'Twilight Zone' is a slow grower that can tolerate low-light conditions. This makes it an easy indoor plant, even for succulent beginners! It's also easy to multiply from offsets or with leaf propagation.
Pot this rosette up in containers with drainage holes and a gritty soil like cactus / succulent potting mix. 'Twilight Zone' is drought tolerant and thrives on deep, infrequent water when the soil is completely dry. With a bit of mindful neglect, it will produce tubular, coral flowers on tall bloom stalks.
