Highlights

Feathered Friends™ Ajuga 'Fierce Falcon' PPAF (Hansen): The hauntingly violet leaves of this plant can add somber beauty to the shaded places of your garden. Use it to add a dark undercurrent to your colorful, tall plants. Like many Adjuda, this plant will bloom on a short stalk with many bluish/purple flowers. It is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot.

Ajuga, also known as Carpetweed or Bungleweed, enjoy partial shade and regular water. Plant these in places where your lawn looks patchy or under taller shrubs to add a bit of color to a shady area. Keep in mind, these plants spread rapidly through runners, similar to strawberries, which makes them great for erosion control or ground cover in difficult areas. They can be thinned or mowed every couple years to keep them manageable and rot-free.

The Feathered Friends™ Ajuga series is bred by hybridizer Chris Hansen, creator of Chick Charms Sempervivum and Sunsparkler Sedum. They are bred to have especially prolific blooms and colorful foliage. These plants are incredibly frost hardy down to -30F (zone 4) once established. They even maintain their leaves for winter interest!
