Sedum selskianum: Amur Stonecrop. Flat green leaf with scalloped edge on red stems. Clusters of starry deep yellow flowers mid summer to early fall that attract bees and butterflies. Full sun. Drought tolerant. Exellent in rock gardens and troughs. Deciduous - dormant in winter.
PLEASE NOTE: Dormant in winter months. If you order November - March, plant will arrive dormant, but will typically recover by mid-May in most areas.

Sedum like well-drained, porous soil. Addition of grit or sharp sand will help porosity & drainage. Many varieties propagate by simply spreading leaves on the soil surface. To ensure division, remove top 2" of plant tips and strip lower leaves form bottom of stem. Plant in well-drained soil mix and water after 2-3 days. Do not over water! New plants should be well established after 5-6 weeks. Fertilize with a low-nitrogen fertilizer 1-2 times during growing season.
