Our plants are grown and shipped in a plastic tube that is 3 inches in diameter and 6 inches long. This provides for a healthy root system that will transplant easily into your garden. To extract the plant, squeeze the tube on the sides and push from the bottom. Some of the more vigorous growers you might need to cut the tube off with a knife or scissors. This is easily done as the plastic is soft. The final step is to cut the bottom of the root off so it looks like the plant in the picture.
